Where’s Belle?
Last of the deviantArt random requests, this one was for FeatherEyed. When I have lots of time after retirement in forty years I’ll do this idea as a full-on Where’s Waldo kind of page with Belle lost in the library but for now this was quite enough books to draw. :)
“I always wonder what happened to Beast’s kingdom. He’s clearly a prince, but the people in the village don’t seem to realize they have a prince, or if they do, that he’s been missing for 21 years. Who is ruling them? Who is he the Prince of?”
I always think about this too, but sometimes I’m like —> well maybe they all live in the castle together. But then I’m like, all those dancing dishes weren’t people, they’re just dancing dishes enhanced by the spell. So it’s hard to know what happened… Maybe Prince pre-spell was so rude, they changed their form of gov’t and thought he went into hiding. LOL (and this random speculation is how we all get through English class hahaha)
I wonder if this is also something from the original tale… it’s been a while since I read it, I can’t remember…
